If you are rubbing on a 225 width tire on 18s and only a Tein drop... Then your struts must be seriously screwed. Im assuming you just kept your stock struts when you lowered? Sounds like they might be on their way to taking a crap, because even stock ones should be stiff enough to keep you from rubbing on that kind of wheel/tire setup...

^^^^could be. i only have 48k miles so i dunno if the struts would go so soon... i'll have new struts this summer anyway so im not stressing it. also today i took it out for a wash and a drive and didnt seem to notice it... could have been something else maybe...

PXLpainter: youre in luck, they make these in 19's!!!!!! 8)

Damn you got me beat now!!! I got my new rims and tires on like a week before you did and I was ahead of you for a short time. We have all the same mods and we both have rare colors, your just beating me on the black headlights. Which im gonna get, soon to tie us back up! Anyway it looks awsome! Your rims make me want to trade in for those. Once I get another good sunny day I take some official pictures of my car so you can see mine. Ive just been busy every other sunny day. Oh yeah, i also rub with mine too. i just rolled the rear fenders and that took car of it. although I think I need to roll the driver side a bit more cause I rubbed it the other day. Keep up the good work!

lol thanks orange. yeah, once i saw you had your wheels on i couldnt wait much longer and had to have mine installed as soon as i could. your still planning to buy the black headlights? theyll look sick with your color. also, are you going to buy the renova grille when that comes out? keep me posted as to what youre going to do next so i can strategize my next mod. you actaully might have me beat, you have tokicos, i was going to buy some but got impatient once the weather started warming so i'll wait for mid summer for that. dont you also have an rsb?

Yeah i plan on getting the black headlights soon, im just trying to save up for the timing belt replacement cause I cant keep putting that off. Although I opened up the timing belt case to get a peak at it, to see if it looked bad, and it didnt. I saw no cracks and from what I could see so im not sure if its been replaced or not. Anyway, i dont even know what the renova grille is. I forgot that I do have the tokicos on ya :D! And yes i do have a trd sway bar. As far as new mods though, there isnt much more I can do thats not too pricey. I was thinking about the evoII catback exhuast, but my family and my gf are starting to get on my case now about spending money on the car so i may just look for a trd muffler and call it quits after that.

Yeah, I know that feeling, I was thinking of doing the same thing. Just ordering the parts without saying anything and just put them on. The rest of the stuff they wont notice so I could get away with it. Its also hard to keep the big spending up cause im already a broke college kid. If i had money im sure i would be getting creative and fabricate my own stuff to work for our cars. On top of that if I were to do that then I would probably need another car. Im putting some pictures up.
