Solara SE Sport V6 0-70 Cam Phone Video (updated)

Hey guys,

I was having a bit of fun yesterday and tried to catch a decent vid of a 0-60 run, but instead got this crap :-P It's really hard to see (the lighting conditions were less than ideal, as it started to get dark and grey out due to the clouds beginning to roll in right before the thunderstorm we got) but it gets part of the point across anyhow (and you're somewhat able to hear the intake / exhaust, even though it's pretty broken up)... In brief; I started accelerating just after 9 seconds on the video and hit 60 mph just before 16 seconds, so I'm estimating a high 6 second run... I pulled a VERY conservative start to prevent any tire squeal (I pushed gently to get it going then mashed it) so I could have done a LOT better. I'll post better videos some time soon, but for now this is what you gotta deal with... So enjoy!

View it at 200% so you can see it, but don't go full screen or it will be a blob of gray :-P

Also keep in mind that my car is loaded with two 12" subs in individual slot vented enclosures with two rather large amplifiers, which I estimate to contribute a total of around 150lbs to my car (and I ain't a small dude)...

Here, have another... This one's a lot better due to the lighting conditions and the fact that I cleaned off my lens... but it's still choppy as hell... Eh, what can ya expect from a cam phone... This is the last one I'll post with a lame phone cam... hopefully I can get hold of a real vid cam and get some better shots...

This one was just a quick run to 80 from a light.

your car is fast, I counted it, only 6 something seconds from 0 to 60. My brother's 03 Accord V6 with the auto runs like that.

very nice.

Yeah, the vids are pretty choppy so they probably aren't that accurate... I really need a vid cam :-?

Was your car on sport shift mode when you did that video?

no, regular auto. I ain't gonna mess with holding a cam and shifting. The CP-E customizer drags it all the way out to the redline before shifts though (that thing rocks!!!)

is the CP-E intake only for the V6, is there one for the 4 bangers?

The engine sound of your car is throaty, it sounds nice :D

Unfortunately.. CP-E loves the bigger popular brother Engine of the car apps they provide. I asked about my tiny 5SFE engine and it got tossed away from the big brothers. Ummmmm WOAH
