Yes, it's only a minivan with the element of surprise.

Thanks Jim,

The current 5.5-psi boost is good enough for me. At 103k miles on the van, no future plans for more boosts. Yes, trips to Reno, Lake Tahoe or the Mojave-Las Vegas are always fun specially when you are the 1st one on top of those hills while most cars are struggling.

Regards.

Running 6 psi

Postby PDX SuperSolara » Wed Mar 29, 2006 2:10 pm

Several people have told be they are running up to 6 psi with the Foreign Affairs fuel kit with no problems. No special injectors necessary. But everyone is running some kind of fuel pump upgrade. Some have headers, some don't. Without headers they usually feel that something is holding them back after about 5000 rpm. That would be the restrictive stock headers especially if your car runs triple cats. And the stock Y pipe is really bad.

Hmmm.. I guess I'll just try 5 or 5.5 for now, since all I have is an Injen SRI, the S/C and the FA Fuel kit... Or worry about upping the boost later... Like you said. I still need Header's, Y-pipe, exhaust, and fuel pump.. more and more. I'm dizzy now and gonna be broke soon too... :drinking:
