Postby denebuff » Wed Mar 22, 2006 5:57 pm

I just purchased a wood dash kit from www.americandash.com
all I can say is WOW what a look!!
It looks perfect! I swear I can smell the wood!!
Great Price and great People.
I still have two more parts to install, one for the stereo and the other for the temp. unit.
I have a new radio coming from the dealer.

is it REAL wood?

It's kind of a lot, though. I have the fake stuff that came with the car, and that's almost too much.

I'd rather have metal, but that's not an option on the SLE.

yeah, i have the same kit, but it came on my car when I bought it. i thought the trim on the overhead console, tweeters, door handles, center console, and climate control were a lil overboard, so I removed those pieces. now it doesnt look like too much overkill, but i would paint it all chrome or silver if I had the chance, including the oem door and dash inserts.

I thought it would look tacky, but it looks good. Better than the Gen2s SLE woodgrain.

I want the SE Sport Carbon Fiber!
