Removing Factory Spoiler?!

I have a 2000 Solara V6 SLE, I wanted to know what do I have to do to remove the factory spoiler? I looked at it... and it looks like its welleded onto the trunk. Any ideas? I want to put a Wings West spoiler on...

take the carpet off the trunk, and there should be 4 bolts holding the lip on.

unscrew them, watch for the LED power and you're set.

Thanks for the reply! Im guessing some how im going to have to fill those holes in with putty or something...?

The corner lights are a Hyper White 38 LED fixture. I bought them off ebay. There easy to find. Just type in 1157 Hyper White LED and youll have a variety to choose from.

FYI: a cheaper alternative would be to 'swap' trunk lids with someone who is of gen1/1.5 with the same color who is looking for a spoiler. If you can just swap out the locks...both of you should be set.
