Nope can't use your stock bushings.
Where did you order your sway bar from? You should get bushings and a grease pack. I would call them and have then send that too you if they did not.

Just for reference though, the part number for the front bushings is SPF1132-24K. They are made by SuperPro and can be found here: http://www.globalperformanceparts.com/p ... s_id/19253

Good luck,

I just got that bar installed and it came with new bushings, I'd consider sending it back if you don't get them. The stock size won't fit. SuperPro makes bushings for the whiteline bar. I think its a real improvement,
good luck.

Hey,

If you bought the Front sway bar new from a website it should come with bushings. However if you bought a used one the chances are the bushings are not included.

IMO, You dont need a FSB for FWD car. You will get allot of understeer in turns, But the sway bar is great for those striaght aways since you will have total control of you car. I had the white Sway bar for the front before and i never installed since i didn't need it. I sold it to another member here for like $65 bucks..

true that the fsb does increase the understeer, but only if you have a normal spring/strut combo. If you are going to get some type of coilover setup where ride height, spring preload, as well as shock dampning is adjustable, then it is a big help. In my car setup, even though I have the whiteline fsb, my rear tires always tend to step out or left the inner wheel during hard cornering. Also Since Im so low for the track, without the upgraded fsb, my tires one of my outside front tire would always rub against the inner metal of the tire well, with the fsb, it just stays that much flatter.

Castro is also Correct. My statements were based on Daily Driving senarios. As he has had first hand Tracking experience.

Tracking or Autocrossing your car goes with a completely diff set-up then regular street driving car.

If you plan on taking your car to the track and properly tunning your suspension that I would def. do the FSB. This can help as Castro said fine tune and get the most out of your upgrades.

Also i'm not sure what suspension your on but with just the spring/strut combo i dont think you can do much tunning and may inturn not turn out as you want. Maybe going with a Coilover system with full adjustable damping and height to get the full potential of the set-up you want.

nope, to back up what kenny said, with just a normal spring/strut combo or stock, it will make the balance tend to go into understeer. The entire car is much flatter, but wont help much in corners unless you get some type of coilover system or run a staggard tire/rim setup where the front tires are fatter than the rear.

My car is 'done up' so to speak with TRD shocks/springs, 18X8 OZ wheels + dunlop sportmaxxes , rear sway and the front whiteliine+camber bolts
+alignment+steering bushings really improved the handling. I think it does push the front more now but is flatter and 'feels' better to me. I haven't autocrossed it so the understeer could slow it down, not sure.
