I thought you debadged? unless you decided to leave the "Solara" on the trunk... I kno u mentioned you left the T symbol "cowboy hat" lol... i never heard of that....

anyway not bad... id also recommend going thru what stocksolara said since you used vht...

also, keep in mind the LED alarm that you put on attracts a lot of attention... sometimes from the wrong ppl... just be careful or lower the mounting point you have.
Retired... its been fun Image

Thanks for the tips guys... a few questions for (any of) you before I start... I think I found a little project for today :)

StockSolara wrote:You should sand it down with 1500 grit than 2000 grit and detail it with swirl remover than polish than wax and it will come out looking HELLA clean

I have Meguiar's Scratch X and Plastic X... is that what you mean by swirl remover? (I think Scratch X is for the body, and Plastic X is for the stock headlights/taillights)... which one should I use?

Also, hand polishing? Or with a orbital?

And... wax? Like my regular wax?

I had removed all the smaller emblems... I really like the "Solara" so there's no way I was gonna take that off... and I think I picked up the "cowboy hat" from one of these posts :) Thought it fit and a good way to describe it so other people know what I mean :)

As for the LED, yeah, I had thought about that too... since I already disconnected the other LED, this one has to be visible... and since I don't drive too much, I figured it wouldn't be TOO risky...

I had originally planned on going... but it all depends on whether my car is put back together. As it stands, it should be, but I didn't want to commit until I was absolutely sure (next week and a half)... rest assured, after all this work, I definitely want you guys to see it!

Once again, thanks for all the comments (and help) guys... I really appreciate it.
