Another weekend, more projects...
So... this weekend, I decided to finally do something I was really worried about doing... smoking my tails...
here's the result... (note, I didn't want them too dark, just darker than stock...) still, I used about 2/3 - 3/4 of a can of VHT Nite Shades... the directions say no more than 3 coats or your light won't show through... well, their coats must be THICK as molasses since I did 6 or 7 light coats. There's also three coats of clear coat, I think my can was running out, as it was getting splotchy (might have to redo that later)...
Oh yeah, also got Mike T's grills... and did the "behind the teeth" install...
And, for good measure (just cause I had it laying around)... I took one of these (from ebay):
And wired it up to replace my alarm's LED...
It's located right above the gauge displays, with the wires running through the seam and down. PS, it's not lit in the pic...
Also finally had some time (and SUN!) to wash the car... LOVE the sight of a clean car (especially mine!)...
Tomorrow will be spent ripping the door panels apart to grab the side view mirrors for Mike T's little add-on.
