Anybody got fully loaded V6 SE Sport?

Postby slingshot » Fri Nov 18, 2005 3:52 pm

SLE's don't just have added creature comforts, they have added safety features like VSC, TRAC, and Curtain air bags. The SLE leather seats are also heated unlike the optional leather ones on the SE Sport (Important feature for those of us in the North).

Then its probably aftermarket leather.

I dont think it is. I know that in Wisconsin, when I was looking at my 04 SLE and the 05's were out, they had an Absolutely Red SEV6 sport with BLACK leather, but it wasnt heated- it is an option. I wish the SLE could have black instead of charcoal.

i think the genius @ toyota decided that they would make the body kit available to all convertable models, but not all models ...

Thats cool, they were NA for SE Sport on the 2005s, that was the deal breaker for me.

SLE has the auto climate control, which is a plus.

i have an SE sport 2005 and i have leather!!!!
i opted to have the leather and all that good stuff over the V6 ^ ^

Not true. I've got leather in my SE.
When I bought my car (2001) the only difference between SE and SLE was the transmission and SLE offered a digital climate control.

Mine is almost fully loaded. I don't have the Nav system.

I do have...

Sport Package (with ground effects)
17" wheels
Sun/moon roof
Leather interior
Side airbags
auto-dimming rear-view mirror
6disk in-dash CD changer
V6
Hmm... I guess that's all.

I have great pics on my cardomain page... very high resolution ones too.

edit: besides, I don't like the SLE's quite as much. They are very nice, but I like the SE Sport interior better. The dark gray vs. faux-wood trim.

I disagree and think it's the greatest invention and it works fantastic in the summer and winter. If you have a central air conditioning system in your house with an auto thermostat, would you go back to manual setting only? No way. Same with a car. I can never go back to knobs and the almost constant fiddling you need to do.

By the way, the SLE contains other changes over the SE besides transmission and auto A/C and heat. It has traction control, vehicle stability control and airbags to protect your head in front and back. The traction control and vehicle stability control is a huge improvement in cold weather climates safety-wise and something you never want to give up once you have it.

Dood - look where you live!

All I want is max AC to cool the car down quick - and I have to fiddle with the controls to get just that - a lot more distracting while driving especially. With knobs you can do it by feel and not take your eyes off the road.

Again - different streaks for different freaks. I like knobs. ;)
