Opinions on summer tires needed

Hello everybody,

I going to buy summer tires soon cuz spring is coming and I dont want to ruin my winter tires. I'm thinking of buying new 17 inch wheels as well.

What summer tires would you recomend and what size. I was thinking 225/50/17. But i'm lost as to what brand to buy. I dont really have a lot of money to spend because insurance bill is coming at the same time. That's why i'm asking if there are some cheap but good tires. I read in car and driver that Hankook is just as good as expensive tires.

Thanks for any imput

~~Yury

I'll take a closer look at fuzion.

I've been using tirerack for last year (that's where i ordered my rotors from). I've also looked at other websites like discount tires direct and 1010tires. Thanks though.

If you're looking for wheels and tires im selling my 17 inch mb motoring 5 wheels with 225/50/17 Falken STz 01 tires. You can go on discount tires and see how they would look on your car. I will post some pics this week and put them in the for sale section too. I'm looking for someone in the NY/Nj area to buy them to avoid shipping.

Almost $200 on tirerack is out my range.

If i had money I would buy Goodyear F1 GS D3, but this looks like good tires, too.

Thanks

hey im in the same boat as you. Im ordering some Kumho Ecsta SPT's. Tirerack is selling the for $86 a tire for 225/40/18. Those tires in 17's should be cheaper. Ive heard good things about them so look at those.

Yokohama Advan Neova 225 45 17. Awesome. Better in the wet than my set of Yoko ES 100 were dry! Unreal dry. You get what you pay for.
