Upgraded my fuel filter and lines before i went s/c

My computer has been down for the last week(MotherBoard) But I recieved my lines/fittings from summit and upgraded my filter with one from an older toyota. All I can say is...It does help performance substantialy even naturally aspirated! There are no dynos where i live but the proof I have is this- I did not reset ny computer, and after I got done installing the new lines my car would not run. It would not even idle! I was like WTF but after I kept it running for about 10 seconds it adjusted and idled crappy. So i made sure there were no leaks, there were none(earls fittings). The only problem I had was cutting the braided steel line. it was a major pita. When I took off in first at about half throttle the engine missed and was obviously overfueling, but then i drove the crap out of it while it learned and then it started screaming...by the way, I bought and installed a weapon r intake on my car...the tube is nice but the filter is so crappy, i replaced it with a round k&N so now all is good

now it is really...really...screaming...(as it is now @ 7lbs!!!)

The upgraded lines and filter will NOT provide any benefit N/A. The stock fuel lines are fine for 200hp. If your supercharged, yes they will help. Do you currently have the charger on there?

The lines DID provide a benifit before i went NA... it may have been negligable performance wise, but my crap was running on the ragged edge at first when i cranked it, and missed heavily the first time through the gears. Im not saying it helped as much as it would s/c, but it was enough to make my computer throw its trims out the window. That is no lie or joke. I am sure the computer adjusted to probably close to stock fuel levels, but my buddy borrowed my Genisys so i couldnt do a before and after drive test to see what the diefference in the tune was was at higher rpms.
The charger is now on with a 2.6" pulley. 8) and i havent floored it yet because its been icy ever since i installed it. But people are already noticing i sound a little different. (wait till they hear 5500rpm)

Oh and I would sell u those rods but I am starting on my second 1mz short block to keep as a spare, just ordered another set from summit. Sorry it took so long to reply on that as i didnt know if i was going to build it or not.
