Wow - cool!

So - what do you have to do with the computer when installing?

Good call. I put a tutorial in with tips for the install. One of the tips is to ziptie those hoses to the side if you plan on reverting to stock for Toyota dealer visits. (not mandatory but depending on the reason for the visit, I do) CP-e did my first install and removed the hoses so I had to figure out where it all went. I'd also recommend getting a paint pen or masking tape and tagging the connections. If you put those on wrong in the stock setup you get a check engine light sometimes. That's only needed for the two that come from way down by the radiator. The rest, I pulled off. They're pretty easy to reinstall.

So - what do you have to do with the computer when installing?

You just have to make 6 connections. 4 are clamp on thingies that tap into the wire. Then they connect to blade type connectors. 1 cut, 6 clamps, 6 blade connects. Very simple once you find the right wires. Big can testify.

Very good info - thanks for all the tips and help guys! :D

I'm def going to go for it once I get the dealer to fix my initial hesitation issue - whatever that will entail!

I'd say bribe them to put the TSB for the '04 in your car. I think we need someone with the proper gear to start a grey market ECU swap where you program the good firmware in. Any service reps wanna make some extra cash?
Could be another year plus before Toyota releases the fix for the new guys.

So how do you bribe the service writers these days? Cash? Donuts? Starbux Cards? (hey - I'm in SoCal here!)

I'm going to see what they can do this week - got a drive out to Vegas next weekend then up to Ojai the following week. Sure would like to have this thing a bit more responsive!
