you drive the 4 cylinder?...

The neted HP from a turbo on a 4cyl, comes from the rapid boost buildup, and lighter overall weight of the car, due to a lighter engine. Also, if Im correct, the HP is also higher due to higher boost capability on the turbo.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

if you are really serious about performance... then you need to swap transmissions or go to Level 10 for a buildup.

Any forced induction on an automatic transmission that was designed for gas mileage is a band-aid modification. IMHO

IMO, I would stay away from peaky forced induction on a N/A motor (read turbo). Unless you're willing to really rethink and spend a lot on the miscellaneous tuning of your car.... There is a lot that needs to be done to a turboed N/A motor to make sure everything will run safely.

nice... well then the bases will be covered I'm sure. You still might want to consider the tranny swap... With forced induction, it would be a world of difference.

What do you mean by slushbucket?

The best thing about turboing an automatic is the constant boost, so you wont have to wind up the turbo after each gear.

Im not sure how big you are going with the turbo, but many simple turbos on a 4cyl will give you the power of a V6 n/a.
