KNock sensors relocation affect on 4psi or 5psi(?)

I know that our car can handle 4 or 5 psi. and because of my idiotness of not installing the EBC but hose were hooked to EBC routes (With no Jim fuel and 190 walbro which you pretty muchly need even for 4psi due to airflow mods), I blew the knock sensors. After wasting a dam 140 bucks for that GM sensor and issues with installing the EBC correctly Ive decided to relocate the darn sensors with new GM ones.

Now I know Knock sensors retard timing to advoid what ever too much power does or what ever, where are the best place to put them? Castro my buddy showed me this one way, but then it doesnt seem to be safe route for a person like me who floors the car up pass 5rpm allot.

Is it safe to relocate if I remain on 4 or 5 or 5.5 psi? And where should I put it that will be able tp pick up some knock waves still. And how easy is it to damage the car if I do relocate the sensors far from original spot and go near redline allot.

Because this CEL 45whp minus issue has taken its toll on me. Ive spent more money fixing dam oem issues then going on vacation on a 'reliable' toyota who cant even handles its own aftermarket 4psi trd supercharger.

hey dats, aside from the pic i showed you of where I put mine, trd4life mentioned on TN that he rethreaded the 2 holes right by the front header and screwed them in there. That way its away from the s/c and still reads off the front block where it is more prone to "real" knock instead of fake knock signals. Search up dynomat extreme and wrap your sensors in that stuff to further prevent it from picking up s/c whine. It will then read the actual vibrations from the front bank with more precision. Even though the rear may not have a sensor to it, the front as always had a lean problem due to the design of the fuel system. Unless we get that jim's fuel pressure regulator idea/kit then the front will always be prone to fuel starvation which leads to knock.
