Front license plate backing

i was wondering if you guys knew where i could get something to put my front plate on so its not directly in contact with my car

i went to the pepboys near by here and they didn't have anything

If you mean so that the holder isnt rubbing the paint, I use rubber anti slip rug backing. You can get it at your local hardware store.

I dont have a front plate even though its illegal. How about using a L bracket?

Had to order it from the dealership, ran me about $12.
It comes with two longs screws that screw into the existing holes on the bumper (assuming the dealership already put the holes in).

but the cops in the area that i go to skool are jerks
they catch you for everything and will pull u over for everything

no offense to that person, personally, i don't like the way that looks

mine was used, and it came w/ a protector thingy for the front licence plate
