Ok, I don't have pictures of my hids, but I was wondering for all you GEN2 folks with HIDS, when you aim your HIDS at a wall or something, do you get two yellow squares above and below the cutoff line, or do you guys get a straight, single, crisp, cutoff line? Here's a picture i drew in paint to illustrate.

Should I aim my headlights, so the cutoff line meets the top of the two sqaures, thus creating one single, crisp, cutoff line? I'm afraid that if I aim my headlights too high, it'll cause a lot of glare and plus, the hid bulb might hit the housing.

lol, nice picture.

I have the same squares. I wouldnt aim them as high as the squares, you are probably going to blind oncoming traffic.

It is glare, but for halogen projectors (as opposed to those designed for HIDs) its not that bad.

haha, alrite, yea light output is pretty bad right now, but no glare, everything is on the side, I tried aiming it higher and got better results, but still not up to par with the bmws, acuras, etc. I'm planning on retrofitting my headlights with tsx projectors, but I think thats a waste of money since light output is fine...just worst than our stock halogens!!! thanks for the response, DAMN GLARE, had me worried. I'll try aiming it higher. I get a nasty V-shaped cutoff line if I aim it too high. Funny.

Same output here.

Check HIDPlanet Forums if you dont already. TSX projectors get mixed reviews.

I said this before in a couple of threads, but Acura MDXs seem to have the same problems we do. Someone solved it by modding the projector housing to allow the bulb to sit 2mn deeper inside. They use H11 bulbs just like we do. This could work for us...
