My 04 lara has 11,500 miles on it- its been in the shop way way way way too much for me to drive, and when I do get it back, I am mad at it, so it sits in the garage and I just drive a company car back and forth to work.

I got my car April of '04 and it currently has just under 27K miles on it... I'm a "high milage" driver, however I don't have 50K on it!!

My 04 GEN2 bought a couple months after it came out has now only 20,000 miles. Can you tell us what problems you've had if any and when did you replace the tires and have to do brake jobs? Thanks in advance.

Holy crap! :o That's a lot of Phreak'in miles!

That's an average of 123.28 miles per day if you drove every single day. If you divided 45K by 240 days (to account for vacation / holidays and weekends) then the average is 187.5 miles / day.

My '04 Gen2 will flip 40,000 by New Year's day (with holiday travel). I've had it 19 months so that averages over 2,100 / month. (Kind of light for me)

I need some more road trips next year. :D

Lets see.. Since I've been working. My daily commute to and from work is about 35miles a day. Doing the math for regular work days in a month which is 5 works days over 52 weeks. Probably avg (5 workdays x 4weeks((1 month=4weeks))= 20 x 35 = 700miles for Work Commute per month. 9,100miles for a year on work commute at base level. Yearly trip to Cali in July. 1000 miles guessing. 370miles from Phx to LA with fun time if i decide to, but its mostly to Anaheim. Sit quietly in a hotel n eat around the strip near Disney Land with the convention center right by the hotels.
Guessing I'm near 12k-13k a year. Almost 70K though for my '00 Did some heavy driving in Sept/Oct for nearly 100miles each weekend for moving.

50K on a 04. How far is your commute dude!?!?! And all that gas gulped down so quickly to get that high mileage. :o

I live 41 miles from my office. So I will put on 82-90 miles / each day I'm at that office. However, this is my company car. I frequently have to make trips Erlanger, KY, Evansville, IN , Cambridge, Canada and Chicago. All these trips are driving distance. (I drive any trip that is 5 hours or less) Evansville is slightly over but I do that one cause it's expensive to fly there.

Then I do stupid things like run to Nashville and back in one day just to pick up a set of wheels. LOL - 1,100 miles in less than one day.

I would have had a lot more miles this year, but my air travel was above average. (Three trips to Japan, one to Paris, three or four to LA, three to San Fran, three to San Antonio and 9 to Nashville. Even Northwest Airlines sent me a Christmas Card.)

Next year, I will be doing a lot of driving. I turn in the Solara at 60,000 miles and exchange for a new Toyota. I'd like to have one of the first Gen 2.5s so I'll need to average 2,500+ / month.
