WOA!!! :o :o You've got quite and impressive mod list. Way cool! I bet you're lovin' the Eclipse HU and changer. Just a quick question, your elcipse changer, how much and does it play mp3/dvd or just cds?

Also, your clear bra, did a shop install it for you or you did it yourself?

Welcome and enjoy the forum.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Ok, here is some info... The head unit was $1800 with tax and shipping plus $54 for the factory navigation opening I got through a Toyota dealer. There is the AVN5495 that has a feature where you can rip your songs from your CDs onto the hard drive and also have your navigation without relying solely on your DVD ROM. The model I have (AVN5435) requires a DVD ROM for the navigation. In order to play MP3s you need an actual MP3 disc with files ending in ".mpg". It plays all burned CDs, DVDs and DVD audio. Super easy to bypass the parking brake so that you can play DVDs while the car is in drive. It has 5V output on the RCAs, a 9 band EQ, and subwoofer level adjustment.

The Clear Bra was put on by a Venture Shield rep (who also can do 3M) in Orange County, CA. His name is T.J. Wallace and his email is tj4chips@aol.com. The front end has alreay survived a run in with gravel truck spewing out large rocks with zero chips. It has a 5 year manufacturers warranty against yellowing or peeling and I couldn't be happier with it. Only maintenance is waxing it with your car, that's it.

Great car! I just emailed your contact for pricing on a first gen clear bra... thanks for the referral!

Also, what do you feel are the advantages to owning Eclipse over Alpine or Premier?

Your car looks great and must sound it too. Congrats.
