well i got a 04 solara se, bought it nov 30, 2004 I first saw it from the corner of my eye and thought "Why does toyota have Lexus on there lot?" i saw it and thought it was an sc for a moment, and i realized it was the solara redisigned. i had no intention of buyin the car but i still went on a test drive. i enjoyed it and ended up driving off the lot with one. I actually made them pull from there stock of cars and it still had all the white stickers and the carpet was still covered with the sticker too. and when i saw that it only had 3 miles i was even more happy. so yea, i have an 04 Solara SE. jus had its 2 yr anniversary with it and going bout 32k on it so far. so far no engine mods done to it, or interior mod either. jus the tints, which i might say arent bad at all, the car is Luner Mist and the tints are a semi-metallic alomst reflective. not the chunty stuff you see, like mirrors but they work better then the conventional black tints. keeps the car cool on the inside on a sunny summer Cali day. well, ima look around a bit and read up what i can upon my car. until now i thought Solara's were typically driven by old people or eihter jus chicks! phew.. almost traded her in. well drop a line and say hi, Peace!

Postby manueliscool » Mon Dec 12, 2005 8:24 pm

Yea, got some stuff in mind, but Im going to wait till i run outta my warranty just to be on the safe side. but i would like to slap some 20's and drop it. and if i can a trd supercharger, if they have one available. i know the tc has one so i figur it'll be the same since the Lara and the tc have the same 2.4. or am i wrong?? and an exhaust kit perhaps. also would like to get my hands on a ground effect kit, i like the one the other Lara's come with. af for interior probly jus sound and tv. id also like an autostarter for it too. i dunno TOO much stuff I would like to have. I also have 92 civic hatch si that i also want to use as a project too. poosibly doin a rhd conversion on it. call me crazy but i belive it could be done, all i need to figure out is checkin with chp and dmv jus to make sure wat is needed jus so i wont have to undo the work when done. Thanks for the welcomes and i'll be here everyday readin everything i can as a crackhead would do jus for a hit. aite guys im out and heres a funny pic from halloween. SHIZZAM!!! and also sum pics of the Lara and the hatch, enjoy! and no i dnt want MTV to pimp my ride, thats what i get for being the youngest and havin an older, thats what it all about!

Welcome aboard bro, there's lots to be done with the Laras... but unfortunately no TRD supercharger (or anything at all for that matter)... If you wanted to do some mods without messin up the warranty, the TRD stuff doesn't effect the warranty at all. Anyhow, good luck with everything, I'm sure you're gonna find everything ya need to know here.

Peace,

-James
