My Black 2002 SE V6 MT

Hello all,

Just wanted to say "hi" to ya'll. I have a Black/Tan 2002 SE V6 MT that I bought a little while ago with 30K on it and a Toyota Certified warranty for $12K (from a dealer, so I think the price is OK). I am actually a Honda nut, but I can really appreciate the smoothness, decent power, reliability and most importantly, the AWESOME MPG that this little V6 gets. No lie, I'm getting at least 27MPG in typical Seattle stop and go with the AC on (defrost) using premium. I have already found that the car gets much worse MPG on regular, and less power also. Do the math, and the premium is cheaper and more fun in these cars so I'll stick with that. I just wish the car didn't "float" down the road. Oh well, I will be getting Intrax springs and 18" wheels on it soon enough to fix that problem.

Oh yeah, another thing I like, State Farm Insurance thinks my car is "just" a Camry, my policy states the car as a "Camry", no mention of Solara. So I pay pretty cheap insurance. Nice to fly below the radar in a "Camry" hehe

Not yet, she's as stock as can be.

As soon as I get the car tinted, lowered, wheels and the older style taillights installed, I'll share with ya.

Hey man, sweet to have someone else here in Seattle!
I've got a set of gen1 tails if ya want them. I'm like days away from cutting them open and doing a lot of custom LED work on them. Maybe once I get this LED project done, we can swap tails and I can hook up the gen1.5's with LED's. I've got a black/tan gen1 SE V6 MT, hope to see you around.

Don't worry about it being stock; some people DO prefer it that way, and we won't rag on you [too hard] for having bone stock.
