1... warranty. Same old story. If you think that they could make a case that the mod directly caused the failure, then spend 20 min. putting her back to stock. I'm paranoid so I put mine to stock for the ECU flash. But Astro tells me that Posh hasn't had any trouble from Toyota with her Injen pipe in.

2... Nabbun, You can still buy it at reg price and if you feel like a road trip you can call them and ask if they'll install for you. They're nice guys and are willing to work with you. Then you can spend the rest of the day getting head turns in G-town as you growl by. Install would be about an hour. But the install is very easy (ask drace99). The $200 deal is just for an '06.

3... Concerning the benefit of the "customizer". We know that the 3.5" would throw the CEL w/o the conversion, but the tuning is what provides a lot of hp. Check out the product for the Mazda. http://www.cp-e.com/2006.html That's just the customizer to tune for the Injen pipe. 18 whp improvement over the CAI on it's own! Toyota tune isn't as crappy at stock tuning as Mazda but you get the idea. During R&D, the Gen 2 made 3hp w/ no tuning, and 9+ avg w/ tuning. 'nuf said. (more than)

hmm, last questions for me, would I need to do any tuning if I Upgrade the Exhaust system to gain more power? and it may sound silly but, would I be able to tune it to save gas by tuning it down, right? cuz if you tune it for more power, your burning more fuel and air so mpg goes down with it, right? just had to clear it up. I'm gonna get the tuneable kit anyway. just wondering tho and the only reason why I'm gettin this is because pickup from stop and go traffic is a pain in the butt - slow

cp-e spent a week finding the most powerful and efficient air/fuel map for the configuration. With just the intake you shouldn't try to tweak it. The Stock tune was very rich and thus innefficient. Lean is powerful and less wasteful.
Major exhaust work (not a muffler) would require a new tune. If cp-e makes a mod they'll retune for that mod and trade chips with you. If it's someone else's, then you can use cp-e's tunable model, or some other type of tuning instrument on top of the customizer.
