Gold Solara

Hi people,
Not sure if you remember but I purchased a white 01 Solara about 3 weeks ago and found It not to fall under Toyota’s certified used cars but it was sold as one. My post New B.
The dealer has gone above and beyond on this.
Since I returned the car, I have been driving a 05 Camry and they just got in the gold Solara, and I have to say it sure is sweet! One car owner, garage kept and 20K less in miles, this has 37K on it! I got to see it this past Thursday and should have it by next week. I’ll be sure to take some pictures. Does anyone out there have a gold one or am I the first??

Sol-Toy, Yes after I purchased the Pearl White one with a clean car fax, which is only
Good if damage gets reported to the state or the insurance company, it said there were no major or miner body repairs, which I found out later 3 day to be exact the whole nose of the car was replaced with after market parts 2 fenders, hood and grill radiator and rad support.
Toyota has what they call Certified used car, it has to meet 160 check points to qualify.
And one of the requirements is No noticeable differences in paint from one panel to another, this car had 8 different color panels that could not be noticed on a sunny day.
The people at the dealer checked each panel with a digital paint thickness tool and every panel on the car was repainted at one time or the other.
There response to me was, What ever we have to do to make you happy we will do.
Now that’s what I call service!
Actuality I caught them with there pants down and they know it.
So now I’m driving a 2005 Camry with all the bells, and they also paid the loan off
On the white Solary! Because the bank was not aware that the car was returned.
That looks great on a credit report!!
Anyway the gold one will be ready by the end of next week.
