To take off the digital meters, you have to take the console on top of the stereo off. You slide a knife or some other slim object that can fit in between the plastic and the dash material. You do this to losent the clips, then pull the console foward. Then unplug the connectors. I believe that you will have to unscrew the meters (its all one unit). Now you have to lift up all the tabs (be careful not to break them) and pull to separate the covers.

I think that should do it, or you may have to unsrew the LCD displays, I don't remember.
Look at my cardomain page (2nd page) to see what I am talking about.
Sorry, I can't help you with the odometers.

If you sprayed it with armor all, you probably ruined the plastic. I put armor all on the speedometer/odometer of my grand am and it etched through the plastic and ruined it. I tried to clean it off but no luck.

I'm not sure how much different it is with the Gen 2 but here is what it looks like for the Gen 1 & 1.5. Hope it helps

That's my guess too. Don't put anything but water (maybe soapy water if you must) on the guage covers. Treat it like the LCD on a laptop. You can try a plastic polish to repair the damage but it's a long shot.

Maybe toothpaste... I accidentally Armor-all'd my first car's radio, but it came off with some toothpaste. Same thing happened to the lower right corner of the gauges (useless space that was supposed to have optional oil meter/voltimeter on that car), but I don't think it's possible to get off, and I already took off the gauges before since the whole right side's lights blew out and tried to clean it while it was out (but it was actually not connected to the plastic circuit "sheet" good enough and it worked once I reconnected it).

Anycrap, it's always better to wipe off your gauges with a soft cloth that's a bit moist, because most gauge faces scratch easy :bad-words:.
