Well, I just took the stock one off and chrome-painted it with a $5 spray can from AutoZone, but in real life it's a dull gray and I regret doing it (especially when I was trying to rush it for a car meet and didn't prime/clearcoat it)... I guess you can either get it dipped or take it to a professional, but since a good spray takes several days to finish, it's recommended to get a seperate one from a junk yard unless you're willing to roll around with no grille for a week. However, does anyone know a more pratical way to chrome the grille/other parts? When I first started, I wanted to chrome EVERYTHING (the door handles, back of the mirrors, tweeter surrounds, door handle, etc.)
