Calling all '06 V6. CP-e wants to fit an '06 with the MAFci system. I told them it's the same rig as the other Gen 2's but they want to do and install and put it on the dyno. So if anyone can get to Beltsville, you get:

- great intake/AFC system at a reduced price.
- free install
- immediate proof of power improvement.

Tag me if you're into it. I imagine they'll be able to test, install and test in 3-4 hours. Should be a fun day trip.

[edit] updated price

Persistant aren't we? J/K bro  How have you been? Just give them some time and I'm sure someone will come around to getting this.

How's yours going by the way? What's the word on the other stuff from cp-e?

I'm just the messenger. But yeah... it is a deal. Between airfare, speeding ticket, etc. I nearly paid retail for mine and lost my car for 7 weeks. To get it at cost and installed would be a huge deal. (Should be about the same as Injen price I think)

Other cp-e work is still on the shelf waiting to see response to the Gen 1 and Gen 2 intakes.

They offer just dyno runs and tuning over there? I looked on their site and saw nothing.

They have a custom dyno for tuning the mods they make. They sell their performance mods, but you could call them and ask if they'd tune a ride for you. You never know.

Josh set the price for the proto '06 pipe. $200 installed! That's cheaper than the Injen (well below cost) and you get dyno's of the ride before and after. Soak it up someone. (lucky bastards)

Uhh ... DowntotheC drove from Chicago to Maryland to help with the development. LOL

As for you, the drive would have to be less than 3.5 hours. Well worth the drive!!! Make it a weekend away. Take the girlfriend and spend a day in DC.

I'm really jealous! (About the cp-e offer, not the part about the girlfriend)

Beltsville is on the NE corner of the DC beltway. Just like going to D.C. for you.

I can't believe not that many people are interested in the Gen 2 performance upgrade and this is only $200. . . For Gen 1 to not have as much interest is reasonable cause a lot of us have intakes already but man Gen 2 is still new to this if I had a Gen 2 I would do it

Does it negate the warranty? I and others have the extended Toyota warranty so that might be a concern.

oh. sorry, i'm '04 v6. I was gonna state that b4 in my last reply and ask if they'd do the install for me if I bought it there @_@ I know, I was very tired at the time of posting so none of that makes sense really. i should just call and get it shipped... I bought the solara and i'm really looking into extracting all of the power I can from our domestic import
