I wanna do something to the rear of the car since its very stock in the back or just put on a muffler, but with the emblems, i was wondering how the paint was handling the chrome myself, but for little things im thinking about doing that also

Yes, she removed them from the car. When you sand the emblem, the primer sticks really good in the little grooves created. The paint will stick good on the primer. It took her a couple of hours to sand and paint (multiple coats). Of course she let the paint dry through the next day. It's best to do this in the summer, when it's nice and hot. The paint will dry much better, also faster. It's pretty easy, that's why she took on the project herself.

Very good Idea! I don't remember seeing pics posted up.

How's the paint holding up on the chrome. Usually, it will not adhear very well.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance. It was a 4 step process for me...base coat then arctic white mid coat then the pearl and lots of clear coat. It's holding up well. No signs of discoloration yet. I've had it for over 6 mons now.

I have the same sill plates and have no scratches or damage on either side. The door can't damage it as it doesn't touch it. They are pretty durable or else I have respectful passengers that don't hit their shoes on it.

Do you mean, he heated them up to a point where the entire tape just came off, or did he have to peel it off the car once the emblem came off like everyone else?
