V6P Motorsports Ground Kit
Hey Everyone,
In addition to being a member here, I'm also an admin over at www.v6performance.net It's a site mostly dedicated to V6 vehicles with a strong Honda/Acura following. We're a decently sized forum, and in the last few years, we've gotten into product manufacturing as well. We are currently or have worked on projects in the past, such as the V6P Motorsports Alternator Kit, V6PM Transmission Upgrade kit, Unichip development, and custom part machining for our cars.
A product we've been making for a short while is our V6P Motorsports ground wire kit. This kit has had huge success on the various applications we've tested it on. Our product is differentiated from the competition by the months we put into researching and developing our products, and by ensuring we use only high quality components.
As a Solara driver over there in a forum filled with Honda guys, they all get to run around with their ground kits, and I'm stuck without one
Honestly, they are a great investment for your cars, costing a little over $100 for the kit, and we have yet to have one customer complain about the quality or performance of the product. Everyone is satisfied. The reason why I'm posting this here, is not to advertise our product, but I want to get R&D on Solara kits moving too. Unfortunately, since I live in Atlanta, I can't drive to San Jose for a set of ground wires
What we're looking for, is for some of you enthusiasts out in NorCal that are willing to donate your car for a couple hours so that we can take measurements and get a kit for Solara's in production to stop by our shop in San Jose for a few hours for us to take measurements. You can even be there and watch as we work, we just need to make note of grounding points and wire run lengths.
The applications I'm currently looking for are:
2G Solara V6
2G Solara I4 Auto
2G Solara I4 5MT
So we need a volunteer with these rides to stop by our production shop in the San Jose area for only a few hours. It's only a small bit of your time to getting some parts actually made for our cars.

If anybody is interested, please PM me, and we can make arrangements to have these kit's manufactured.
Thanks for your support,
-James

We have installed this kit on Maurice’s Accord, and on a CL-S and both cars are now running very noticeably quieter and are much smoother. The most noticeable change on the CL was the fact that the car has a smooth start. Before the ground wire kit was installed it had a growl to it and also had a jerking feeling to it when starting. Both of these "problems" are no longer there now that the ground cable kit has been installed.
What does a ground cable kit do?
A ground cable kit is a ground… which in this case prevents spikes in electrical signals. Our cars have electrical signals that go from all of the sensors to the ECU and then from these signals the ECU sends out signals that control the engine, air fuel, … When a good ground is not provided it allows for a spike in the electrical signals that are being received and sent out by the ECU. When this happens the signal is slightly modified causing the car to not run the way the ECU intended it to.
It is like when you are trying to talk to someone on a cell phone when you are in a tunnel and the reception is bad. The signal cuts in and out and you cannot fully understand what is being said and neither can the other person. A ground cable kit will give a full and clear signal and remove most if not all of the impurities in the signals being sent and received. This will allow your car to run more efficiently which will allow for better performance.
As a comparison to the competition's products, look at some images of the our competitor's products:
HKS Ground Kit:
Notice the cheap copper terminals, and 10 gauge wire
HyperGround Kit:
Same as the HKS kit, 10 gauge non-OFC wire, cheap ring terminals
Below is the V6P Motorsports kit:
Notice the 100% nickel battery and ground terminals. The battery terminals are laser etched with the V6P.net logo, and the 2/4 gauge wiring is available in a few different colors:

Below are some photos of kits we've already manufactured for other vehicles:
Scion tC Kit:
Accord Kit:
WRX Kit:
CL-S Kit:
So once again, if any of you guys are interested in getting this product rolled out, we need 3 donor cars to get this kit engineered
Thanks and PM me if you have any questions
