hey for some reason i think i read that the TRD sideskirts dont fit on the convertible. is that true? because if it is i will have a set so brand new silver sideskirts for sale.

from what i heard from ek64, the ragtop skirts have certain clips preventing fitment for the TRD skirts

so yeah he left his stock skirts

isn't the reinforcement different on the sideskirt of the vert? something for extra chassis support comes to mind but i could be wrong.

All Solara convertible came standard with skinner skirts. IMO, just sell your trd skirts and use the money from that sale towards exhaust/intake/suspension!

Ive seen in person a silver solara convertible with trd wheels and ground effects on it. It looked like it came from the dealership that way too.

I may be wrong, but in pictures the verts have a more vertical shape along the bottom whereas the hardtops are more curved towar the inside of the car and down. I thought that was the reason it wouldn't work.

I think it may actually be fine with some small modifications. The skirts have kind've a bow effect as they curve slightly with the car, and I think the positioning would just be off a little. Also the "support beam" for lack of a better description that goes across the inside of the sideskirts would probably present a problem.
