Anyone know of any good web sites that offer Solara parts for 2006. So far I have successfully managed to find sites for 2005 and under!!! :-?

I think the 05 is the same as the 06 for most of the parts ... what did you find?

There's very little difference between the 04, 05 and 06 Solaras, and for aftermarket parts there shouldn't be a difference at all.

Most of our parts are still labeled under 2004 on the web, however the 04 - 06 are one and the same, and all performance parts are interchangable. So if you find a good deal on an '04 part, don't be afraid to grab it!

In some cases involving engine parts like a short ram intake, nothing is listed for a 2004+ V-6. However, check for parts listed for the 2002+ Camry SE with a 3.3L.

This was the case for the Injen intake. It fits fine on 04-06 3.3L Solaras.

I just usually see whats available from word of mouth or check out other solaras on the road to see if they got anything interesting that ill go searching for on the comp. but i havent found anything crazy..

You know, when I pull into the dealer for service, I want it boring. Dull, boring, unexciting, etc. (READ: I dig having a warrant)

Me too. I'm now well rehearsed on reverting to stock before running into Toyota. Gonna be a tough call if I find headers...

My Toyota dealer likes the Injen intake. They were thinking about putting one in the accessory case. It's hard for them to claim they're bad for the vehicle when they carry AEM intakes for the Scions.

Just keep a friendly relationship with the service and parts counter guys. Have a clean car coming in to keep it from looking ragged out. They are more likely to refuse warranty work if your car looks abused.

I dig having a warranty too, especially when mine's is the extended one. Look at the complete A/V overhaul I did on my ride, the service advisors dont mind, in fact, they complement it. All the TSBs...rattles n squeaks, sunroof replacement that I took in my car for they never refused warranty work.

I'm taking mine in shortly to replace my peeling armrest, hopefully they like the new backup camera haha

And oh yeah, whose got da ballz to take their Gen 2 in with the intake in it? Phreak doesnt count, hes on the inside! :P
