getting tints for my window in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if mirror tint is illegal in california. did a search on google and found nothing. thanks in advace for the response.

Any tint on front windows (except dealer tint) is ILLEGAL. Everyone just takes their chances. I don't know anyone with mirror tint, so I don't any experiences with it.

i had mirror tints on my car, got a ticket for it in NY. anything reflecting or like a reflection is a distraction so yea, its calling out ticket

Of course its illegal in Cali! Any kinda tint on front windows is illegall except for that crap that comes stock from dealer. Back windows are ok to tint normally, but any kinda mirror tint is illegal.

Go there for your state list. And it says no reflective films.

mine is reflective tint i am in CA, but not the darkest , or most reflective that can be. i got a fix it ticket once for it already. depends on your luck, but i love having the tint, it keeps the sun out.
