Let us know how they look, I got the HOEN bulbs (Xenomatch titanium for low beams and xenomatch for fogs), not too impressed by them. I still like the Silverstars whiter color. These are bluish. Cool I guess, but I am not to fond of this.

a few more questions...

Postby geminiz » Wed Sep 28, 2005 9:06 am

hey kgzero1..... can you post some pics up of those new bulbs?

What brand do you guys use for the front signal lights? Is it 3157 or 3457?

Do you guys change the high beam lights also, or is it a waste of money since you'll hardly even use it.

I'll try to get pics of them this weekend. I didn't buy high beams for the exact reason you mentioned above.

its defineltly not brighter then stock or the silverstars i had but its beautiful.. i now put the silverstars that were on my fogs to my high beams, its not as yellow not during the day when those lights are on

and when i tried the luminics on the high beam it was even more beautiful, but i dont use high beam much so i ya... now im thinkin about chaning my nokya artic whites on my low beam to the lumincs too, but im gonna run them for a while first

what bulbs are these

Postby geminiz » Thu Sep 29, 2005 6:51 am

Can you list what type of bulbs you are using for the low/high/signal/fog?
Are the pictures shot with the low or high beams on?
Are we suppose to purchase 3157 or 3457 for the signal lights?
The fog lights are the same bulbs as the high beams?

the fogs are h10 but H10 = 9005...its more commonly known as 9005 and 9005 works for but the high beam and the fog lights..they use the same type of lights...

so my fogs and high beam is 9005
low beam is H11
signal lights are 3156

those pics are only the low beams and fogs..no high beam...and ofcourse the turn signal..

and types of bulbs im usin:

Low Beam: Nokya Artic NOKYA Arctic White Stage III - H11
High Beam: Silver Stars - 9005
Fog Lights: Luminics Pure Blue - 9005
Signal lights: Xenon 3156 bulbs i found on ebay..dont remember brand

but i think the Lumincs Ultra White would be better for the low beams then the Nokyas..i got my friends pair here and he hasnt put them on yet..ill let u guys know how those are once i put them on his car..prolly today

btw heres a example of the turn signal http://cgi.ebay.com/3157-3156-4157-Xeno ... dZViewItem

it was something like that..dont cost much and makes the car look alot better compared to that orange light

Arthur, just curious, but how does the silverstars look when you have it on DRL? (amber-ish? whitish?)

if DRL means when i have the high beams actually on then its defitintly more whitish then anything but not like HID ofcourse

if DRL means just when they are running during the day as regullarly then they are actually like the stock one but with less yellow...and lil brighter..if this is wut u meant then i wouldnt recommend 40 bucks for them.....
