ok, I understand you have no such word in english, despite my dictionary shows such one.

Then maybe wing spar?

The element of the construction where the frontal wing is mounted?

those electronic translations are a pain aren't they.

If you mean chassis, well, the camry and solara do share the same chassis and have the same wheelbase and stuff. The chassis are like train tracks, so a wreck bad enough to break your chasis will not leave much of the solara body behind. There would not be anything left to repair.

If you have pictures of your wreck, please, we'd like to see them.

So, there is my solara:

http://www.verastar.com/WebSite/Details ... cid=364726

and there is the example of the part of chassis I need:
http://images.copart.com/website/data/p ... G?06:46:45

just look at this picture - the part of chassis where the beam of bumper mounts.
We call it longeron,
I don’t know how it is in English.

I've heard the chassis of Camry is the same. But I must be sure, because in Europe we have many Camrys, but no Solaras.
At this moment I'm not sure, this part I need (the car is shipping to me), I'm just checking.

Maybe I'm not looking at the right thing, but what you refer to doesn't seem to be an actual part. Like newroc said, it seems you are refering to the chassis. In that case you can only repair it; if that cannot be done, I say buy another car.

Despite being educated in british-english, i myself am baffled as to what this piece is. Are you referring to the reinforcement bar for the front bumper??

I may be mistaken, however I believe he is referring more to the actual unibody structure of the "front clip"...
