has anyone changed the amber color blinker in there tail lights yet to hyper white or another color. i know you guys can take out the yellow for the headlights cuz i seen pix, but curious to know if anyone did it and took apart there tail lights yet cuz i hate the yellow blinkers i wanna change it if possible

I switched to the Titanium bulbs. They have that chrome coating so when they're off the lens looks clear.... really nice and clean look, no more yellow glow inside. When they do light, they have a amber color, just to keep it legal.

Here's the bulbs I'm using. You might want to check in your area first, because I found mine in my area for a lot less than on ebay.

Jason, thanks so much for ur help, but i have the gen.2 solara, the new model and it comes with yellow blinkers i dont know if it will work wit the new solaras of wat u have...thanks for tryinggg :angel: lemme know if you kno anything about the gen.2 blinkers

Arn't the housings of the backlights actually yellow.
I don't think changing the bulb is gonna do anything. I think we have yellow plastic on our tailgihts, right?

well after trying to change the blinker bulb in the front last night, my bf bought me some aftermarket ones, it fit into the socket but i guess it didnt make the "click noise" so as he was tryin to put the blinker bulb back in the headlight, the freakin little bulb dropped into the headlight!! now we gotta think of a way to get the little crap out...any suggestions??lol... has anyone changed there front blinker bulbs yet??? help me out peeps pleaseee

Check the Gen2 Tutorials. I think the front blinkers have been changed before.

yea i got the hyper white reverse lights, we were thinking about changing the wires to make the reverse lights blinkers but if you switch the wire for the reverse light to be the amber color, how r peeps gonna know ur reversing..btw the hyper white in the reverse lights for a blinker would look hotttttttttttttt
