Correct, that's for the Gen1 2.2L engine. Gen1.5 moved up to the current 2.4L 4 banger.

i dont think theres any cheap intakes like this available for me :( lol... guess im gonna have to pay 211. or whatever it is unless someone finds me a link for a cheaper intake :)

quick question..... You have an 06 right???

Since you have a brand new car do you really want to put "cheap" parts on it?

I understand your frustration.. I have an 05 V6.. and it has been a pain finding mods for my car.. so I feel you 100%..

and I have mad respect for the chics on this board... we are a rarity.. there arent that many of us on this forum...

thankssssssss.. yea ive been into cars ever since day 1 of gettin my civic (which is in my car domain page)which i kno alota toyota peeps r haters of honda lol....yea, im tryin to find an intake for this car and its crazy cuz im so used to 1000 parts for the civic and now like nothing for the new solara. I really dont want any cheap parts for my car but if it'll do for now, ill put it on... know wat i meann :angel: thats why i like this board, people here are actually trying to help me out and i like getting advice from people especially with the same model car or who have experimented with it already

well you have to learn one thing with the solara..

that is patience for mods..

being a chic really into cars myself I fell you... My first car I really got into was a 68 camero rs...it was the first car I bought myself.. it was so much funny.... was a great car to have while I was in High school... I also had a 1989 GSXR 750.. so I have been into the whole car/motorcycle thing for a while...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INJEN-Sh ... iewItem--- I was going to buy this off ebay and i asked the guy if this would fit the 04 since the 04-06 is the same obviously and the person wrote back to me saying no it will not fit.. is this only because he's clueless that it really does work because you guys are telling me it does or does it really not work.. is there anyone on the boards that have this in there gen.2? i saw the fireball or something intake for the solara which doesnt look bad but i never really heard of the brand like i have with injen
