Do these look nice on the Solara?

Postby Jai_Jai_Binks » Tue Sep 20, 2005 8:35 am

They look nice. I've tried gen5 camry xle rims on my solara, they look similar (but at 16s').

Those are the stock 350Z wheels..

If i'm correct then they are 17x7.5 in front and 17x8 in the rear. 33 offset all around.
if he has stock tires on them they should be 225/50R17 in front and 235/50R17 in back.

The only thing is that the nissan center hub is bigger then toyota's center hub. So those rims will not be centered since these wheels are not lug centric. You will get some vibrations from the steering wheel once you reach high speeds of 55 to 70. Also you can't get hub rings to center it since they dont make any that will fit from a toyota to nissan hub.

But they do look kind of weird on a toyota. IMO.... But like others have said if you want to keep the stock look its up to you...

My friend scored them on eBay for $400 last year :drinking:

And when we went to go pick them up, the guy rolls up in a black 350Z, 19s all around, and steps out of the car with a beer bottle in one hand

P.S. I don't plan on putting those on my car; if anything, it'll be the TRD 17s. The rims were just lying around and we did it for the hell of it.
