4 cyl. intake for gen .2? is there any?

since im a newbie to the solara--forgive me if someone posted this already, but im looking for an intake for the 4 cyl. i have an 06'-i assume the 04-06 is the same, but all im finding is intakes for the v6.. if someone knows where i can get one, please let me know.. i thought someone said injen has one but i cant find it thanks guys...

Actually, I know for a fact that Injen did R&D one for a 4 cylinder because I spoke with the guy and he has the prototype on his Gen 2. If I'm not mistaken, he's in Cali as well.

From talking with Paul Ho at Injen both the V6 and I4 prototype were developed that same week.

Give Injen a call.

it says something about the 02-03 but i cant use that right, not the same?

I was under the impression that you are able to use the Gen 1.5 version (02-03); the Gen 2 4cyl is a direct carry-over from the Generation 1.5. I believe the part # ends with 2025... I thought everyone with a 4 banger was happy cuz they were able to get their hands on SRIs while the V6ers were miserable cuz we had nothing for a while...

well i called up Injen before and it looks like they got NOTHING for the 4 cyl. .. I asked when they think they would be making one and the guy said
" i'm going to have to look at the car" umm duh its been out since 04 wtf is the slow processsss....i dont kno wat other makes there are to consider, AEM and they dont have it either. Any other suggestions?

You can use the one for the gen 2 camry 4cyl, I belive the part # is in the intake thread in the how-to forum...

Actually I take it back... pg 5 of this thread gives you the part # for the 4cyl camry, It's the same part, but they can't list it for the solara cause it's not CARB legal...

Ah, THAT's what it was!!! Thank you so much SolaraGirlie, you're da bomb!! I was thinking it was the previous gen Solaras, but it's the current gen Camrys! I was hoping I wasn't going crazy (well, any more than usual)... I thought I remembered there were people out there with the Gen2 4 banger Solaras with intakes... phew...

Eh, in my defense I have a 6.. so at least I was paying some attention, right?

No, my car is stock atm... I might get it in the future, but TRD lowering springs, and exhaust will be the first things on my list...But right now my broke a$$ can barely afford to put gas in the damn thing!

solaragirlie-reading the forum you posted, alot of talk is between the gen.1 & gen.2 confusin the crap outta me. the intake u posted is for a v6 isnt it??the guy who bought it has a v6... just a lil confused cuz isnt the intakes for the v6 and 4 cyl. different?? help !! haha

Ah, I WAS right!!! That's the same model as the one for the Gen 1.5 Solara (2025). I don't feel stupid any more!!!
