CP-e MAFci Product Review - Gen 2, V6

A little bit more news. I contacted Josh and they have 2 versions: the non-tunable version costs $469, and the tunable version costs $99 more. According to Josh, the tunable version contains "a bigger chip, software, dual fuel maps, and cables for tuning immediately". I believe this is even cheaper than we initially thought. If you want this, I strongly encourage you to contact Josh, just keep in mind that it might take him a couple of days to get back with you.

Let me also say a big "thank you" to down2thec, who put up his ride to make this happen, and did a great writeup on it. We all know how sparse the Gen2 aftermarket is, and this MAFci is a welcome addition. Thank you!!

Yup, the price did drop. They trimmed it a bit from $492 to thank us for our patience. If it goes well with this, I'm hoping you'll be thanking me for the headers and shift kit!

Concerning the tunable. Cool toy but I wouldn't want to mess with my tuning. You'd need a dyno to see results of any tweaks. But I guess if they give you two maps to start with you could have your "date" map and your "angry driving" map.

Either way you go, if you ever get to buy another CP-e product that effects the AF mix (headers, SC, etc) they'll swap chips with you so you have the proper map for your combo. For tunable, I imagine they'll share the map with you. But that's looking ahead.
(FYI: Map is like a spreadsheet telling the chip to set the mixture at certain levels at certain RPM's.)
