i just set up my HIDs, they are 5300K and are already showing *some* (just a little) blue/purple at a certain angle. i do prefer white (more useable light)

i ended up aimming the beam a little lower to shine more light on the ground and try to minimize glare

with the original setup, it seems like much of the lights are travelling paralle to or up from the ground

the beam and glare (the lack of in this case) are still no match for OEM HIDs, though i think it should be better than with the reflector setup for the other non OEM HID cars

i don't know how hard it is to retro fit a set of lens from other OEM HID, say ES330? that would be nice

yup...i have McCullochs. I have to say, I'm really happy with them. I feel like my 6000K aren't too bright though. But I'm gonna take them out and try re-connecting them this weekend. It might just be the connectors because they sent me some ghetto looking stuff.

the factory beam aimming is quite high for HID

with aftermarket HID, the beam seems to throw far but not on the ground

you may want to try to adjust the beam lower so that there's more light shinning on the ground

i tried it and it seems like it puts more light to the ground.

there isn't much to it

get the HIDs (H11, i think D2S <-- can somebody verify?)

read the manual on how to replace the low beam

take the factory bulb out, reverse the instruction to put the HID bulb in

make sure you don't touch the HID bulb with your fingers.

plug the power cord in, make sure everything are secured (zip tie, double sided tape, etc) and there's no lose wires.

turn it on to test it.

the installation won't affact the factory aim of the beam. but i adjust it to lower the beam.

and enjoy. :)
