Nah, I just steal other people's and sell theirs. If you ever wake up in a shady motel room in a bathtub full of ice and your side hurts like hell, you'll know that you have in some way contributed to modding my car. Muahahahaha!

You do know the JDM Gen3 Camry we got here is called the Toyota Scepter back in Japan right?

I think they also had a JDM Gen3 Camry, but I dont think its the same one we got.

I've always hated the Altima... x_x especially w/ the marketing and "cost effective build quality" from Carlos Ghosn's era of "rebuilding Nissan to its former glory" by getting sales from new markets and losing the original and true fan base x_x

Cheap materials all around! hip hip, hooray! hip hip, hooray!

It's not JDM since it's seems to have the driver on the left side =P It's just like slapping Windom side markers on a Solara and saying it's JDM Solara Parts.

No, I mean Japan had both Toyota Camry and a Toyota Scepter in Gen3 times. But the one that is the Camry here is a RHD version of the JDM Toyota Scepter, and the JDM Camry was a car we didnt get here.

Maybe I'm wrong, I'll look it up.

-- EDIT --

OK Scepter was the Camry in the rest of the world, not Japan or US. The one the US got is the same as the Scepter anywhere in the world, and the Japanese Camry was a slightly smaller version of the Scepter/US Camry, and there was no Scepter in Japan.
I wish ufoz was here right now, he could school me on this.

Only updates here are the new JVC headunit, Greddy Profec B Spec II hiding underneath in the DIN pocket and the new Momo aluminum pedals.

How artistic of me right?

Get low... This is going to be one of the last pictures of the Scepter in gold... New color scheme is coming soon!

The Scepter will be dyno tuning soon! Its hard to find time to drive this car when Im so busy, but it's running really well. I have a few issues to solve and then its time to tune! Hopefully we should be seeing it out on the big track at Willow Springs towards the end of the month and the Cannonball run from LA to Vegas on the 9th.

nice pics. How many more cars do you have? You have a Frontier, Camry, Trueno, and a Altima? dang

Ok Ill set the Scepter stuff straight... In Japan and other parts of the world, gen 3 Camrys were called Scepters. But you could also find them badged as Camrys during the same time. They were mainly coupes and stationwagons, but there were a few sedans with Scepter badging as well. The large majority of them were just called Camrys, Scepters are semi rare even in Japan. Other parts of the world got even more variations, like the Vienta and Vienta Touring, and of course the Holden Apollo, all the same gen 3 Camry underneath.

Im not really sure what the point of the Scepter badging was, because I havent really been able to find anything concrete on the exact differences between them and Camrys. So far all Ive heard is that its just the badging that makes the difference between them. And also, RHD and LHD doesnt make a difference, Ive seen Scepters in Europe that were bone stock and LHD. Even members of the SCEP Kansai club in Japan have confirmed all of this... So say what you want about me calling my car a Scepter, just remember that it was my car that spawned the Solara in the first place. Respect your elders! :D

Yeah, I was undecided on what color scheme to go with... I think I pretty much have my mind made up to go with Jaguar Racing Green for the color. Also, I want to go over the carbon fiber with a thin layer so that it looks like its all one color, but if you look closer or the light hits it, you can see the weave through the paint. The wheels Im getting are going to be custom black Volks with the lettering done in gold, and my new brake calipers are all going to be gold...
