Not bad. They look similar to one of the Solara TRD sets, but without the lip.

Nice looking rims, but if your going to upgrade, move it up a notch to some 18s. I hear they dont rub with the TRD Springs but since you have an SLE you might have a bouncy ride with the springs anyway.

yah if you go with 17's DO NOT GET LOW PROFILE TIRES!!!! Your wheels will look very small and you will be pissed, but those are a nice choice very good looking, mine are 18inches and I think they look too small, I'm prolly gonna upgrade to 20's as soon as can scrape up some cash... I'm gonna sell my rims and use my buddy's stock avalon limited rims untill I have anough for my dubs... Anyone wanna buy my 18's?

Didn't buy them....

Postby joebxr » Tue Aug 30, 2005 12:45 pm

The rims were on eBay and went for $255 + $135 shipping + $30 insurance ($420 total). Didn't win the bid, but that's cool...didn't realize they had 2 sets of holes for 100mm and 114.3mm bolt pattern. I'm not comfortable with that. The wheels are made by BSA Mfg from Malaysia. Wheelmax carries a bunch of them. But can't find anyone that has that specifc model (Type 334 Black Titanium). I would still buy them, especially for the price, if I can get them with the 114.3mm only pattern, provided the holes are not punched on the spoke portion.... no hurry, so I'll just keep looking. Maybe I really need to get 18" instead. Nice thing is when you're not in a hurry you can keep looking until the right thing come along. In my case, if I buy now I won't mount them until spring...'cause winter in Syracuse NY is ON THE WAY!!!!!

They look pretty damn nice, make sure you get 235-50's or those 17's will look like hot wheels rims.
