All Gen2 parts so far are the same, and should remain so until 2.5 hits. You won't have any problems putting "'04" parts onto an '05 car.

Don't know exactly what you're looking for, but depending on price, you may be better off paying for the TRD RSB and FSTB (like Prodigy said, 04 and 05 parts are the same). Are you looking to replace stock parts with SE Sport parts ?

I have a SE Sport.. I was looking at working on my suspension.. I am going to get BBS RK rims in 18" and TOYO proxy 4 in 18"..... waiting to hear from brembo about my brakes. want to put a cold air intake and performance exhaust on it as well.. I have a few other ideas but I figured I work work on the suspension and performance parts before I did anything else..

Currently there are no plans in the works for a CAI due to engine compartment space and configuration (at least for the 3.3), however there is one Short Ram Intake on the market (Injen) and another SRI supposedly on the way (CP-e). I have heard Brembo has their lowest end brake line available for the Gen 2, however I have been unable to confirm (and too lazy/busy to write and ask). Only exhaust available are mufflers (TRD and a few crappy off-brands) unless you go custom (ain't nothing wrong with that!) If you do decide to go for a custom exhaust setup just make sure you do a bit of research on the shop that does it for you. I've been heavily considering going custom on the exhaust (just cat back for now), however I have a few other priorities before I do so. I highly recommend the TRD rear sway bar and front strut tower brace... You have 4 choices on suspension... TRD springs (1.2" drop front, 1.4" drop rear), Eibach springs (same as TRD), Tein Coil-Overs, and JIC Coil-Overs...

Good luck bro, keep us posted on what you decide to go for!!

Thankx.. I was looking at the Eibach and TRD for my suspension.. have a little more research to do.. My little brother has been doing research on it for my as well.. He has an 04 WRX STi he's been doing work to. I have to get some pix of the two cars together. its a smooth contrast.. the bright blue and the lunar mist look sweet next to each other.

Oh BTW.. I am a chic..

And the brembo thing.. my little brothers cousin is dating the brembo rep.. the last thing I heard was that they were workin on a proto type brakes specifically for the Gen 2. whether TRD is going to pick it up or not I am not sure.. so I am waiting to hear about that.. .

My apologies, I didn't mean to jump to false assumptions! It's great to see more females getting into this site (esp ones with plans for modding!!)

Eibach made the springs for TRD (both sets are exactly the same), so you may be able to find a better deal on them (TRD prices up for the name).

Even if TRD doesn't jump onto the Brembo waggon, it's still WELL WORTH picking up a set if Brembo launches them on their own. Even their lower lines have the zink corrosion blocker, which makes them (in my opinion) worth the additional cost over OEM or cheap aftermarket products any day! If they launch their mid to higher end stuff, that would be flat out awesome! Maybe you could throw in a bit of influence to your little brother's cousin's bf/gf!! (wouldn't that person be your cousin too?)

Let him/her know that there is definitely a demand for Gen2... We're starved for parts, and I have a feeling that many of us would jump on pretty much any quality parts that hit the market!

Wow, things are looking up. First, we had Junest with Astro modding her ride. Then we had 04SolaraGirlie changing her own oil, and now we have another lady actively researching and modding her ride. Talk about girl power ...

Like prodigy, I must apologize as well for false assumptions  .
