My New Shoes

Postby indiglosolara » Sun Aug 14, 2005 10:29 pm

Well I finally had time to go out and get some pictures of my car with my new wheels and my grill painted black with a black pearl emblem. I've also done a few other mods here and there but they are not complete yet so more to come.

They are 19x8.5 SSR Professor SP-1 (3 Piece) in Black and Polish lip with Toyo Proxes T1-R Tires.

Enjoy

The tires are great. I actually only got these for temp basis and i got a good deal on them so i went for it. I read some reviews on it and they are suppose to be the best Toyo performance tires this yr.. but well see... Ill probably be taking these off in a couple of months and selling them since i'm Sponsored by Dunlop. Dunlop didn't have the tire size i needed in stock so i had to buy these for now cuz we had a show to attend yesterday. We took home Best Team Quality Baby!!!! :D That’s good to hear Bro. :P

I'm also in the process of getting new shoes. I've haven decided on what to run with. Currently, I’m Rollin in Yoko ES100's. The thought of BFG KDW2 and TOYO T1-R's have been bouncing in my head (and the darn Oil cooler project that I need to start eventually :-? ). So, I was just curious. :P

Very very nice! Are these going to be the last set of rims? I've liked every set you had on your car.

I wanted those SP1s for a while!! I wasnt sure if they had fitment on the solara since Tirerack takes it off thier list once you pick the Solara, but they look like they fit nicely. Are these the SSR or the Speed Star Wheels (SSW) ones? SSR ones are hard to come by now that they filed for bankruptcy...lemme know if you have a link/hookup for the SSRs if they are indeed the SSR ones.
