Cheap AIT sensor chips

I often see those Air Intake Sensor / Coolant Temp Sensor mod chips on eBay for like 30 bux. I have no doubt that they do offer some performance gains, but at what cost to the engine is sacraficed for a little performance? Do you guys think these chips damage your engine in the long run or screw up your factory ECU settings?

They dont work, But on other car they dont work either but instead add more stress to your car and raises your heat level...

100 degrees outside, Sunny, Roads hot, Your driving, That thing is installed, Car thinks its taking in colder air, Incress function on car, Car works harder under hotter temp, Creates more heat, More stress on pistons and car= youll never see your 100K mark...... Just how I see it...

For winter, air is already cold...so WUAHAHA you lost 30 bucks...

For Toyota cars, We are equiped with allot more technoloy then you think, Bypass that thing and goodluck on even trying to start the car..

So its really bad, People just do it for the money.. Like that Mountain Whatever scramler radar.. LIESSS
