I pretty much stopped monitoring the forums when I quit working on my Solara and attending SPL competitions, but since I am nearing 100k I came back on here to do a little research and forgot how informative and cool you guys were.

So I'm hoping to stick around some more.

Just got a '01 5SFE with some minor mods and a crapload of electronics :P

You can check out the Yote on my Soundomain page.

Glad to see you posting again. I see that you're from Chicago, perhaps you could make it to the Elmhurst meet next year?

Nice site btw.

Hey thanks for the welcome!

Yea I hope to make it. Too bad I did not come back earlier because I would have loved to have gone this year.

Car looks good man, but really needs tires, and a dry remote .

Also, what CEL Code are seeing?

I imagine this post should unsettle you a bit :D .

Yep, I almost tossed a note for Solara Guy in with your paper work, but I wasn't too sure how "professional" that would have been. I could try to figure out the statistical odds of randomly working on another Solara Guy's car, but that's just too much math at 7 in the morning.

Ok apparently I was not awake enough when I first read your reply to put two and two together. Holy crap! So yea I need new tires :P

I also went straight to the Jungle Wash after getting the rotation to wash my dirty a$$ car. Sorry you saw it in such a craptacular state.

But wow....who would have thunk it?

And code wise it's the fun P0401 "EGR Flow Insufficient". I cleaned the throttle body and Seafoamed and reset the comp and it's still showing up, so I'm assuming it's the EGR valve. Something I'll try to get to eventually.
