Hello/ newbie with questions

Hi everyone! I happened to stumble across this site and I must honestly say after viewing many threads I am glad I found this site. Nonetheless I am currently in the process of ordering a brand new loaded black on graphite 06 Solara V6 SLE and had some questions. I want to lower the car for starters as well as put some 19" wheels on her. After reading some posts I noticed that some of you have TRD springs vs eibach, is there a diference? The eibach lowers the front by 1.4 (f) & 1.6(R) not sure about the TRD's? Also what is the widest set up I can put on 19"s. Can I do a 19x8 and a 19x9? with a 245-40-19 & 255-35-19? I would appreciate any input some of you with wheels/suspension may have. Thanks

welcome, glad you found us. the measurments for the eibach springs are the same as TRD. not sure about the wheels, you might want to ask someone with 19's. chris clutch has 19's michael's artic frost project has 20's not sure about how wide they are though. good luck with that. and post pics when you get your new ride.

Welcome :D
I've got 19 x 8.5 on my gen 1 with 35 offset. I believe *PoshPizzie* has 20 x 8.5 on her gen 2. I'm not sure on the offset, but she had to roll the rear fenders. I'm sure someone will chime in with the correct offset for the gen 2.
