Oh man!!!! :o :) :D 8)

Thanks for the pics and welcome PhreakdOut!!! I didn't know these pics were out there.

I saw when the guy with the pimped out Lexus (Best of Show) pulled up, I immediately took pics of the engine bay which, judging from his reaction, he seemed a bit perplexed:
Image

I think he was still prepping the car....I was there when he first pulled in and opened the hood, then I wondered why he pulled out this carbon fiber panel with 2 monitors, and an electric drill with a screwdriver bit...he was frantically trying to install the monitors before more people saw the car, finally he got it in a few minutes later:
Image

Guess he cannot drive the car with these in place - no air to radiator and the underhood heat would ruin those monitors in no time.

Nice catch. I had noticed the removal of the airfilter cover when he was packing up, but I hadn't seen the front monitors removed.

Please post up as many additional pics you may have. :D

I took some random shots around that day...man it was one HOT day, for that matter, this Summer of 2005 is a hot one!

This Scion tc was transported over from CA just for the show.

It would be cool to see more 'historic' Toyotas show up, like the IMSA Champion Turbo Celica GTOs and IMSA GTP cars that Dan Gurney lead during the '90s. Those cars were the dominant force!

Part of the Celica lineup...
Image

The late arrival of the AE86s. Man I love racing against these cars!

Is there enuf trophies? Sheesh....

STO, I saw this sticker but kept forgetting to ask about it. What's this about?

BTW: I'm not sure if anyone noticed Pat's headlights on his Matrix.

He retrofitted the projectors from a Mazda RX8. It turned out dang nice. I just had to mention it.
