Help on wheels and tires sizes!

Hi guys!

I want to get 20's and need some advice from those that have 20's on their Solara.

I'm thinking of getting the TSW Kyalami in hyper black.

Here are the specs:

Size: 20x8.5
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 40ET
Tire Size: Falken 245-35-20

Will this work for the new Solara? Is there any rubbing? What are you guys running on?

Thanks!
David

1LOKEDOUTSLE,

Thanks for the tip, but I did check with local rim shops around my area. None of the rim ships has put on 20's for a Gen 2 Solara.

I posted the thread to get help and not flamed by you with your little video clip. What the heck is your problem? It seems like you like to cause problems with almost every thread I read in here.

I would Contact Michael T on the forum. He has 20's on his car and im sure he can help you out. since i dont own a Gen 2 im not sure what the recommended offsets are for wheels.

If you would like a little more help i have some friends at TWS that might be able to help you. They helped me out a lot with my new wheels.

Contact Albert at The wheel supply, 909-468-1311, Let him know you situation and im sure he can help you out. Just let him know Kenny Sent ya..

TranSolara-

Nice choice on wheels! That was my 3rd choice but, I decided on the Enkei LM's. This is my setup:

Size: 20x8.5
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 40ET
Tire Size: Nitto 555 235/35/20

My car is lowered with TRD Springs and has a heavy sub enclosure in the trunk. There are no problems in the front. I'm not going to lie to you, the rear 2 wheels did rub when I had 4 passengers in the car, but that only occurred when turning into steep inclines. I resolved the issue by shaving about a 1/8" of the rear fender.

So im guessing it kinda be the same if I wanted to put 19s?

So it basically be: 19x8.5 and 235/35/19

Does anyone have a diff offset other than 35? If so, is there a difference? My guess is it should be safe from 35-45...
