Hey, got a few questions

Hey, got a few questions

Hey everyone, I'm new here.

I came over from V6P.net, and I've had my 04 solara for about a year and a half now, and I'm finally getting sick of it looking stock :D

Just to preface this, I have searched already:

I'm looking to buy a set of 18" rims, Axis Hiro's specifically. I need to know what the optimal offset is for these cars, and what tire size you guys would recommend to avoid rubbing issues. Particularly with either TRD springs or Tein S-Techs.

Also, I'm wondering, instead of using one of the horrible looking dash kit's I've seen online, is it possible to take the dash piece from a Solara w/ Navi and fit a double din head unit inside?

Let me know,

-James

Welcome to the forum. (Welcome home) check in at the Introduction forum when you get a chance.

You need to get creative w/ the search... it's touchy here's on answer for you:

Make sure you check "all terms" and narrow down to the right forum. Don't recall seeing any one doing the stock NAV piece for a double DIN. Might have some dremel work. But maybe someone will measure the opening for you.

Yep looks good so far here 8)

I'm an admin on www.v6performance.net but it's mostly Honda guys there, not too many Solara owners there =/
