According to TRD:

TRD is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a TRD Lowering Spring Set for the new 2004 Solara & 2004 Camry. The TRD Lowering Spring Set lowers the car 1.2" in front and 1.4" in the rear without changing the vehicle's suspension geometry. This reduced ride height offers more stability and tighter tracking during cornering. Springs are progressively wound to produce good ride quality during normal driving and a firm ride with increased speed. Constructed of spring steel, the springs are coated in Diamond Black with a white TRD logo.

Does the unchanged vehicle suspension gemetry also mean that an alignment would be unnecessary? I'm trying to spend as little as possible so I don't want it done if not required.

yea, you need an alignment within 6 months of the install. i got my TRD springs installed in my seV6 last weekend and wednesday i got the alignment. they give you a read out with the numbers from before and after the alignment mine wasnt too off. the only thing that was thrown off was the TOE measurements. everything else was pretty much ok.

so-cal_sol, what were the alignment stats on your lowered ride?

I just got mine lowered this weekend (suh-weeeet!) and the left drift is gone. Now there is sort of a right drift. But that is only apparent on crowned roads, so I am thinking it is nuetral, but wanted the figures for a future alignment. It sort of goes left when I am in the left lane on the highway, so I think it is just me having gotten used to the left drift.

The shop said they put it at the stock specs.
