most people these days are using some sort of dampers. especially the tein SS, RA or even HA. In my 01 prelude i had the tien flex damper with EDFC and worked like a champ. it was the complete setup with upper pillowball mounts. i wouldn't say that its an "off-road" only use, but it you slam that to the lowest setting in height, then i guess that will be considering "off-road" cause of the height rule thing here in cali.

I looked at the online lnstall manual for the 2004 Solara and it said off road only not for public roads. May be just to cover their butts. But thats what I was talking about, sorry I didn't say that before.

their prolly saying that if you get caught with those, teins are not responsible for it.....but im pretty sure you still can use that dampers on the streets with the right height. the reason they prolly state "off-road" use only is because of the ride comforbility. if i had money i'll get those.

I'd say that's probably right. I've got the JIC coilovers, which aren't that different from the TEINs. But, all I can say is there's NO COMPARISON, coilovers ride like 500% better. Plus, the fact you can adjust the height and damper. I would love to put some on Junest's ride. 8)
